To elevate, in the public mind, the importance of taking care of "decedent (death) affairs," before the big day comes. The hassles for families and friends, who are left behind, can be disastrous for them, especially when they are trying to handle the mourning process.

You would be doing a great service (usually) for anyone who mourns this sad life-transition, if you tell them about such a search -- and your findings

The following was provided to me by a friend of mine, a retired military officer. He is taking great care to spare his loved ones grief -- and he thus inspired me to think of you and me in this way.
The information is militarily-oriented, but still contains much utility for all. Please treat the information as general, to start you thinking and investigating the specifics, as they apply to your particular circumstances.
