| May 07, 2012 Dear Friend: Today, on a bipartisan vote of 91 to 3, the Senate confirmed District Court Judge Jacqueline Nguyen of Los Angeles to serve on the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Judge Nguyen became the first Asian-American woman ever confirmed to serve on any federal appeals court.
