Eastbound Highway 4 closed this week between Pittsburg and Antioch

Eastbound Highway 4 will be closed during the early morning hours this week between Pittsburg and Antioch while contractors continue work to expand the road to six lanes.
Lanes will be closed from Loveridge Road to Somersville Road from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Tuesday to Thursday, according to a Caltrans news release.
Starting Friday, eastbound traffic will shift south to a portion of a bridge that crosses Century Boulevard so the old bridge can be demolished.
