To tell you about an awesome Android-app which I discovered, today, had been installed on my phone -- apparently, by me -- long ago -- forgotten -- a neat, promising idea -- among thousands in play.

APP-NAME:  "CIRCLE -- Events, Concerts, and More" (linked here) 

BY ITSELF, IT'S ANOTHER GOOD REASON

TO OWN AN UP-TO-DATE MOBILE PHONE, IF POSSIBLE!

2.  Discussion

A Civic Mentor goal is to help you know what's going on around you -- leaving out nothing important -- whenever you need or want to know.

Part of the job includes calling practical things to your attention --  that help do that -- (and I mean a LOT of useful things) -- and recording the fact -- where you can ALWAYS -- BE EASILY -- REMINDED -- AUTOMATICALLY -- if you'd like -- until it becomes a habit.

As soon as a lot of people become involved, we're going to have a lot of good, life-enhancing info at our ready disposal! 

One way I can do that, RIGHT NOW, is by merely placing this bulletin here -- on this very blog -- and letting it stay here -- so you can happen upon it, -- should you decide to browse the site (i.e, "go fishing").

4.  It's so nice on the road

Wherever we went, today, our phone (and this app) told us about things going on -- near and far -- THIS VERY MINUTE -- often within blocks -- which we DIDN'T EVEN KNOW EXISTED.

And it told us -- How far away -- hours of operation -- what the place is about -- and pretty much everything we wanted to know.
