Friends, as explained in my bulletin, "TEMPORARY SLOW-DOWN IN BLOG UPDATING -- an explanation," I am necessarily behind in my updating of things. Yet, I really would like this page to be a sort of profile of the year in our common territory. I'll get back to updating as soon as I can, unless I figure out something even better. 1. Please note that this page is changing almost daily as new bulletins post. Any part of this list may change after you have already examined it,. Some things do not come to my attention until after the fact. AND, this table is BECOMING A DE FACTO COMMUNITY CALENDAR AND DIARY. Even if the event has passed, I will try to insert it in proper date-order so that, by the end of this year, this page will reflect, at least partially, the OVERALL PATTERN OF ACTIVITIES that characterized our territory during the year. That approach should give this and future such pages value to us, even beyond their current year. As more and more year-pages accumulate, even larger useful patterns should become evident -- sorta like a "journal" (smile).
2. As this blog matures, I envision alerting you, somehow, to things that have changed since you last checked -- perhaps with a "what's new" page. Please be patient while I work a suitable solution into Version 2.0. The PCJ is still in its infancy, still "rough," and is trying to perfect itself before your very eyes -- I see no choice but to do this job in public, in the time I hope remains to me, though I would have preferred to perfect it more, before presenting it to you -- but such delays would have deprived you of the information. Substance before style. Plus, the PCJ is a "system-building" tool, working toward establishing many more public-service systems to come. (tick-tock!)
3. PLEASE REPORT BAD LINKS (i.e. links that do the unexpected) -- I absolutely detest those sneaky things -- and try my best to avoid doing that to you. Report 'em below any bulletin and I'll see them.
4. And, in case you're wondering why the dates on the back of the first 60 or so bulletin-board "flip-cards" seem wildly wrong -- it's because that's the only way I have to push those bulletins to the top, and keep them where I want them to be - and I have no way to hide this confuser from you. When I finally release them from prominence, I apply the correct date to re-position them. This very table seeks to offset that, till Version 2.0 is ready. The remaining 900+ bulletins are in the proper order.
