 1. National Day of Giving, Tuesday, May 6

Support STAND! during a national 24-hour online giving event on May 6 by making a gift on our giving day page and sharing our Facebook posts to inspire others to help end family violence.

Visit the East Bay Community Foundation, Richmond Community Foundation, and Give Local America pages to learn more and make your gift!  


2. Ellen's Guild Elegant Elephant Sale, Saturday, May 10, 9:30am - 2pm

Last year, the sale raised more than $2,500 to support STAND!'s programs. Tons of bargains include jewelry, fashion accessories, vintage items, home/household, collectibles, children's books, toys, and games, and garden.

3 & 4. 2 Ways to Celebrate Moms: Get ready for Mother's Day, Sunday, May 11
  • Find the perfect gift for mom through AmazonSmile. When you select STAND! as your favorite charity, a portion of your Amazon purchases will support our work. (Also good for year-round purchases.)
  • One day left to bring in items for 20 courageous moms currently staying in our emergency shelter. Donations of fresh flowers, food for brunch, and gift bag items (make up, hair products, lotions, slippers, etc.) will help make this an extra special and well-deserved celebration. Items needed by Friday, May 2. 5. Dine at Patxi's Lafayette, Wednesday, May 14

10% of the entire day's to-go, delivery, and catering sales will benefit STAND! Orders must be placed at Patxi's Pizza located at The Clocktower, 3577 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Lafayette (Phone: 925-299-0700).



6. Lafayette Juniors' Annual Kitchen Tour, Saturday, May 17, 10:00am. - 3:00pm

Take a self-guided tour of six special Lafayette homes with beautifully designed rustic, ranch, Cape Cod, open concept, traditional, and farmhouse kitchens. All the homes featured on the tour are located in the Happy Valley, Burton Valley, Reliez Valley and Downtown neighborhoods of Lafayette, California.

Tickets are $40 each or $55 with lunch. Includes Kitchen Tour program detailing all the special design elements as well as information on the kitchen architects, designers, and contractors. Purchase Tickets  

Proceeds raised will benefit STAND!, First Place for Youth, the Lafayette Library, SEED, and Twin Canyon Camp.
